Shanahan made him run 3 100 yard sprints. He was winded after the first one, had to have an i.v. after the second one, and refused (or was physically unable) to do the third one.

Do you really expect a man the size of Haynseworth to be able to run 3 100 yard sprints in one practice? Furthermore, why the hell would you want to make him do it?

I hate Haynesworth, but I agree with him on this battle with the Skins. If he and management had an agreement that he would not have to play a certain defensive scheme and then they switch to that exact scheme in the second year of his contract, then he should be pissed.
